· Introduction：
This Liberary&Exhibition hall was refurbished from a partly damaged traditional courtyard, with three sides of which had been existing and one side long collapsed, leaving only two earth walls free-standing.
For less damaged parts, we maintained and restored its original state.However, we employed mordern materials such as steel and glazing to stick the remaining of collapsed house, and thus created a transparent space,which functioned as Liberary, linking the sealed yard with open field and turning it to be visually open compound.
